Welcoming new Fire Keepers to the Family! On the day that Pluto entered Aquarius marking a transition to a new era, a group of lovely humans gathered to initiate their path with the Sacred Fire, learning about the Mayan Cosmovison anchored in the Peninsula Iberica by our teacher Doña Maria De Tulum @mariagalindoruiz and how to integrate this ancient knowledge in our modern lives. They made the commitment to remain simple and humble, honest and real, to take the Fire where is most needed and requested. First inside of their hearts and then in service to others. For me personally, it's been a lovely journey to pass this tool that awakes the heart. A journey that has cristalized my own commitment and discipline, and makes me "walk my talk," reminding that "we are what we do and how we act and not what we preach or say." Questioning about the real motivation behind a certain action or service. Why do we really do what we do? Can we have this honest conversation with ourselves? People come to the Fire when they feel the calling, when their religious or spiritual practice is lacking something, when they want to learn more about rituals, concentrating energies, connecting to Nature, communicating with other dimensions, finding the Divine within.... The Fire Ceremony is not only about Fire. It works to balance the 5 Elements: Fire, Air, Water, Earth and Ether, creating alchemies inside the Sahumador, helping us achieve higher states of consciousness, bringing light where is dark, understanding where there is confusion, transforming and transmutating the old into new. The next Fire Initiation in the area of Sintra will be on the 24th of March, 2024. We will also run a Temazcal for the ones that wish to join!
