G A R U D A S A N A Garuda translated into English would be eagle, the mystic “king of the birds” also the vehicle of Vishnu. Garudasana, the eagle pose implies balancing on one foot with both arms and legs crossed. This posture promotes adduction and strengthening of the thighs, hips and shoulders. It also works on your ankle and calves finding the balance. It is a posture that require great concentration and awareness of the body!
