Caring is one of the words that has accompanied me since a very young age. I was fortunate to have been cared for by a grandmother who conveyed care through her touch, her gaze, and her voice, not only for the grandchildren she cared for daily but, above all, for the most vulnerable, for those who, for various reasons, might need more attention. Embracing the verb "to care" in my life is to honor the first person who taught me what it means to care for the whole and not just the sum of its parts… My profession is, par excellence, a profession of care, based on science and art, and all my areas of professional investment, such as Yoga, the health promotion training and workshops I organize, seek to promote holistic care for the people I work with. Every day, I find inspiration in the stories of courage and resilience of the people with cancer I support, and it is they who motivate me to go further, to intervene not only in treatment but also in prevention, health promotion, and support for families. Being a Nurse Navigator allows me to offer comprehensive support, helping patients manage the side effects of treatments and the emotional impact of the disease. I believe that care should be based on technical and scientific knowledge, but also very much on human relationships and interactions, touching all dimensions of the person. Being a Yoga Instructor takes me to a place of extraordinary care because in Yoga, the caregiver is also cared for; Yoga brings me lightness and depth and adds a therapeutic dimension that no other practice has given me. For all these reasons, Yoga has become essential for me as an intervention in the disease but also in promoting the health of the general population.
