Yoga Life

Anton Brandt
I’ve been dwelling a lot recently on my purpose. How my daily actions intersect with my values. How my work, my friendships, my choices intersect with my vision for this life. My work these days more often feels like play, my colleagues have become friends, and the western idea of “work-life balance” feels more & more like a false binary. The Indian tradition speaks beautifully of Dharma, and the Japanese also have an elegant concept of Ikigai, which is basically the intersection of what I love, what I’m good at, what the world needs, and also what others will pay me for. In some parts of Japan, I’ve heard that there isn’t even a word for retirement, because people continue to engage in their Ikigai throughout their entire life. Some photos of me, doing what I love.
