I forgot my phone in the changing room today. First time in 8 months, I entered the shala @agora_lisboa *just* with my breath. Remembered about it while in Trikonasana. The shock, the guilt. I flowed through, connected with my body, focused on my breath, for about 10 minutes. But what if they need me? What if there’s something to know, that I won’t, right away? While I put the world on Do Not Disturb, I must keep the cord awake, pulsating, with them. Went to get it right before Utkatasana. Now that I know, the mind is unsettled. Phew, the relief. Today I also trusted my body. First time in a year and a half or so, Sirsasana without the safety net of the wall. A wall that was never used anyways. I trusted my bandhas, with @soniaamayoga ‘s words vibrating through my skin. Trust your body. A body that can do so much more than the mind is allowing it to. Might this be the beginning of a new phase. Or just a different day.
