Yoga Life

Ada Moisescu

The privilege of holding the space in the Mysore room, while @soniaamayoga is holding the highest of the spaces for new beings Of watching, observing patterns, characters and vulnerabilities unfolding on the mat. Watching without judging, without categorising, without the pollution of my own beliefs. Tough job. Repeating the same mantra every morning. May my behaviour, my word and my touch be either nourishing, motivating or inspiring, or all at once. Or may I just be. A presence. May the people in the room find what they need or want in the mirroring reflection of holding the space for them. As you do with a dear friend when they reach for you in need to talk, as you do with your spouse at the end of the day or with your child as they go through big feelings and transformation. Allowing life forces to express themselves in the way they need and not in the way it is expected or according to an agenda. Responding to them accordingly, and not by script. That’s the teaching practice. And that’s what cannot be learnt from books, from trainings or from diving deeper alone. It must be learnt together, as a dance of energies driven from your own practice and from the empirical way it has changed your life. Intuitively. Fluidly. From the center of your being. Like all of the best things in life
