For the sensitive women, who feels deeply, taking on more stress her body can handle. I am certainly one of them. In moments when anxiety creeps in, and everything feels heavier than it actually is, my body freezes, and my nervous system goes into fight-or-flight. Over the years I’ve found some ways that help me pull myself out of these states, and today I’m sharing a combination of 3 really powerful tools. 1. I reach for Ashwagandha or magnesium for a boost of support (I’ve been using this one from @mothersprotect and it saved me so many times) 2. I sit down with eyes closed, hands on my stomach or heart space, and focus on long breaths with an extended exhales 3. I repeat to myself ‘I am safe’ as a mantra, continuing to breathe until the body softens It may seem simple, but when our body feels on edge, all we need to feel that it’s safe. Save it and come back to it when you need it. If you feel like sharing, I’d love to hear how your body responded. nervous system regulation | stress management | anxiety | slow-living rituals | self-regulation #nervoussystemhealing #stressmanagementtips #femininehealing #wellnessrituals
