Meditation

Péter Frák

Meditation has always been a coping mechanism for me since I was a child. When I became more aware, spent time in Asia and in India, did Vipassana, studied Tibetan Pranayama and meditation techniques and started to practice consciously it all needed to be turned around within myself. Meditation needed to become a tool of arriving into acceptance and emptiness. As a child and teenager I remember that often I just wanted to be in silence instead of being constantly the clown and entertainer of the family. When I had the chance to escape the world I didn't understand I closed my eyes and started to talk with spirit guides and angels. I was staring into candles wanting to enlarge their flames just with my energy or I spent hours in nature trying to levitate pieces of wood with my energy. In highschool I already had a pendulum and figured out how to connect with it and started to summon spirit guides and talk with my guardian angels. I remember asking my angels via the pendulum about which subject I should focus on studying for the next day etc. So meditation was a gateway to escape into the spiritual world that no one seemed to understand around me, but for me it was so obvious and visible. Today I teach the basic principles of traditional Tibetan meditation techniques together with techniques rooted in yoga philosophy and different Pranayama breathwork, 5 elemental and chakra system related practices. It was a pleasure to share some of my favourite practices with the guests at @ahodworld retreat in September in Portugal.
