Guided Meditation
Picture
The human mind tends to wander more often when left to meditate solely, but when mediation is practiced with a guide, most practitioners find to meditate and focus for longer. Guided meditation is a practice in which one or more people meditate guided by a teacher or trained practitioner either via written text, video, sound recording, or audiovisual media. Guided meditation uses the power of imagination and visualization making the practice effective. The guide leads the seeker through mental images, visualizations, or other specific techniques. The practice (in shorter formats of 15 mins to 1 hour) finds a way to busy life of many just starting to meditate.
